A Stay At Courtyard By Marriott

Being An Influencer And Contest Player On Twitter, I love to do Campaigns and at the same time love to play Contest too. Before New Year @CourtyardMumbai (Twitter Handle) hosted a contest #TheGrandIlluminatiNYE in which I participated the prizes were respectively; 2 dining vouchers, 1 Sunday Brunch Voucher , A Stay Voucher and lastly the grand prize a couple pass to the NYE Party at courtyard.
I played on twitter but I did not won , After that I came to know that the contest was still live on Instagram.
I played on Instagram and luckily won a stay Voucher. Completing all the necessary detail requirements with the marketing team, they mailed me a stay Voucher along with a complimentary buffet breakfast voucher too.
I Checked In at the hotel and was amazed to see the view.True luxury and convenience go hand-in-hand at the Courtyard Mumbai International Airport. Ideally situated in the Andheri East suburb of the city, near Mumbai’s business hub and both airports, the hotel welcomes you with impeccable accommodations and thoughtful amenities.

You’ll surely feel at ease the moment you walk into their inviting open lobby, with its abundant natural daylight. Wonderful , Well-appointed rooms and suites showcase, pillow top mattresses, marble bathrooms with rain showers, and flat-screen TVs. And Sample world-class dining here at the hotel – from flavorful Thai cuisine at Red Zen to a vibrant International buffet at MoMo Cafe.

Okay!Enough about the hotel and its lobby.Coming to the room I was given an executive Club room.

Over all my experience was good.I wish they had a proper room/guest service,I even noticed the hotel staffs were little careless, I Ordered water at night ,but no one took seriously, I think!
This deaf ears going behavior gives them -1.
As I mentioned the rooms were amazing, breakfast at momo-cafe was up to date keeping Indian + International breakfast cuisines in mind.

So, Such a reputed hotel near International airport which is mostly clubbed with foreigners as a premium guest just went negative in delivering a bisleri to my room.
Hope next time I go,They look into this minus point…

Simply Crisp!

Guess Kashmiri prawns will have to wait cause this ones my favourite. What it takes for a simple fish fry?  Spiced up with Indian spices, and fried to crunchy texture, this recipe is amazingly luscious when served with Indian flatbread ( wheat chapatis). Sounds good!! Well here’s the simple yet richly spiced promfret from the famous South Indian cuisine.

Fish fry

1 kg promfret fish( or any- the bigger the better)
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp pepper powder( coarse)
2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp red chilli powder (spicy)
2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder( less spicy)
1 -2 turmeric powder
2 tsp coriander powder
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Clean and cut the fish. Apply salt and wash thoroughly. Mix all the spices and ginger garlic paste in lemon juice and marinate the fish pieces well for an hour or two. Shallow fry in a non stick pan. When the fish is done , fry the left over marinade in the pan and serve along with the fish. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve with wheat flatbreads(chapatis).
